Hello!
I am going to perform an ERP study for my doctorate thesis and I am planning to buy the Electrode Cap or Neurotechnologist kit, but I want to connect it to the software that I currently use which is the Neuronspectrum.NET from Neurosoft. Is it possible to connect them? would I need to code to integrate them?
Also, I would like to know if It is possible to add more electrodes to both the Mark IV headset and the Electrode Cap.

Thank you

    LeZatti, hi.

You should avoid doing ERP with dry passive electrodes (Ultracortex default setup or velcro headband kit). This is because electrode cap (with gel) or cup electrodes (with paste), provide an improved signal amplitude needed for ERP / P300. In the past, users attempting to use dry passive electrodes have reported P300 difficulties.

There is a retrofit item in the Shop, the ThinkPulse dry ACTIVE electrodes. These can replace the passives in the Ultracortex. I'm not sure we've heard from ThinkPulse users doing P300. But there is a Q&A thread:

Are you working from recordings or real-time? OpenBCI_GUI can output in multiple formats (such as CSV, BDF, LSL, others). If you want real-time, look into integration of BrainFlow with your NeuronSpectrum app.

10-20 maps for Ultracortex and the cap are on their respective Shop pages.
