Cython board portable batery solution

Hello, I am new to the OpenBCI community. I recently acquired a cython board with a Ultra Cortex IV headset. I wanted to substitute the original AA 6V battery pack by a lithium cell to increase mobility. I bought a 3.7 V cell from adafruit as suggested on the specs but I guess the board needs a bit more voltage than that since it didn't work. What battery voltages are commonly used?

    Vinicius, hi.

The Adafruit lithium cells are widely used by many to power Cyton or Ganglion boards. So if yours is not working, I'd suspect something is amiss with the connectors / wires. You should be able to check the incoming voltage, and post regulator voltages on the board.

It's also possible you may have charger issues, or a bad cell.
