How to Mark events and display then in FFT?

Is it a way to mark events - pick events in 8 recording and get FFT of event?
I already integrated the program into MatLab - I just wonder if it is possible in OpenBCI as a feature. To mark events as it goes. Thank you! Could you give any other suggestions how to solve this problem,
