I wonder who is using what software for reading CSV files. I wonder if there is any documentation. I just change the .txt tile for .csv. Somehow it is not coming organically where is the location for the file. It will be nice to have a documentation for business audience. Thank you.

    Elizabeth, hi.

There is a search button in upper right column "Google Advanced Search". Suggest you search on topics to see if any previous threads apply. Posting on previous threads sends email notifications to those who previously commented. Speeding responses.

The CSV columns are explained in the header comment at the top of the CSV. There are many ways to do DSP digital signal processing on EEG signals. Generally you first apply a bandpass filter, say from .5 Hz to 45 Hz, to filter out the DC offset. Many also apply a notch filter at your mains frequency (60 Hz in US, 50 Hz elsewhere). Once the EEG stream is filtered, you can then further filter for specific brainwave bands, such as 8 to 12 Hz for alpha. Etc.

Instead of using the CSV file, you can directly receive the data stream, do filtering, etc. using the Brainflow library. Available for many common programming languages.
