EEG recording sample

Hi! I'm trying to understand if an EEG recorded with Cyton and OpenBCI_GUI could be read by the program normally used in our laboratory for the signal analysis. Is it possibile to have a .txt file recorded as sample, just to see how it is displayed on OpenBCI_GUI platform and if I'm able to work with it without necessarily using Matlab or EEGlab? Thank you so much for the help!!

Hi Antonella,
You should be able to use the OpenBCI_GUI to generate a CSV text recording file from 'Synthetic', algorithmically generated pseudo-EEG data. So the resulting CSV file would be the sample data you are looking for.

[4th choice on the menu shown 'SYNTHETIC' versus LIVE or PLAYBACK.]
