Currently trying to work through the tutorial,

in a windows 10 with arduino IDE. The one issue is that the BLE dongle/ and with that the board cannot seem to be converted as a COM port for arduino to use.
Maybe I've missed something,
I installed the FTDI firmware.

Any suggestions?

  • Hi i think you are missing the CSR dongle and using the zadig tool to replace the default driver for said CSR dongle. FTDI is not a part of the Ganglion windows stack.

    @Xp0, hi.

    It sounds like you are trying to upload firmware to the Ganglion. If you have newer firmware on the Ganglion, this can be done OTA over the air.

    You would only need an FTDI type dongle if you have the older original Ganglion firmware. In that case you need to use an actual COM port / FTDI dongle, not a BLE dongle. The page you linked to lists your options.
