Measuring Concentration/Absorption for Meditation

Hey there!

I have started with Neurofeedback, and am now going into the direction of Neurofeedback for Concentration/Single-pointed meditation. I've been looking for pointers on how to determine concentration on the object of meditation (in that case, the breath), and stumbled upon these articles:

Where increase in anterior and front theta and low alpha are associated with "bliss" and concentration.

and

but there aren't clear pointers as to how to identify internal attention.

To you experienced meditators out there, have you found good pointers for attention in meditation?

I will probably, for my specific case, make a setup where I record a meditation session, and when entering deep concentration, I press a key to mark the time. I will then analyse what kind of data I am gathering over time. My guess would be that starting in the frontal area would be my best guess?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :D

Thanks a lot in advance and
cheers
Luc
