We are really excited to announce that the folks at Melon have donated to host us for a Los Angeles hackathon this coming summer. Laura and Arye, the founders of Melon, ran a very successful Kickstarter last Spring to support the design, manufacturing, and delivery of the Melon headband and mobile application. In case you missed it, Melon is a headband and mobile app duo that tracks and helps you improve your focus in relation to your activity, your environment, your emotions, and any other behavior you want to track.
This sponsorship is an awesome gesture, revealing the truly collaborative potential of the BCI landscape. We can’t wait to hack brain waves with our new friends at Melon and all of our LA brain hackers. Thanks a lot, Laura and Arye. Details about the hackathon will be sorted out at a later date.
