Wow! The amount of support we have received in the first 48 hours has been phenomenal! We’ve almost reached 1/3 of our target goal in just 2 days. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and to all who have helped spread the word. Your contributions have been invaluable.

We are excited to announce that next Monday evening Joel and Conor will do a live demo of the OpenBCI V2 tech. In addition, they will present a mini-lecture on OpenBCI and the current state of DIY/commercial BCIs. The meetup will be hosted by the Volumetric Society of NYC and will take place in the East Village at CultureHub. If you’re around NYC and you want to learn more about the many challenges of interfacing the brain or see the OpenBCI technology demonstrated live, you should RSVP for the event as soon as possible. Details about the meetup can be found on the RSVP page linked above.
We have been getting a lot of great questions and comments from all of you, and we want to let you know that we are doing our best to respond thoroughly and in a timely fashion. Today we will be posting a FAQ to our Kickstarter page, which should help clear up most of the questions we have not had a chance to respond to yet. Please don’t hesitate to keep asking, commenting, and suggesting. It will only make the rest of the Kickstarter better for all of us.
Lastly, we can’t emphasize enough that you all, our early backers, are our best means of spreading the word at this point in time. So continue to tell your friends about OpenBCI! If we hit our target early, we plan to announce reach goals to add additional features to the OpenBCI board and software suites.
Sincerely,
The OpenBCI Team
Joel & Conor
