Hi all
I have cerebral palsy and would like to make a difference to people with Neuromuscular conditions like myself and would like to start the ball rolling right from the beginning of my career so would like some advice on a potential business/product idea.
Is it theoretically possible to essentially “correct” brain signals by figuring out someone’s true intentions (given that person has a neuromuscular condition like cerebral palsy) through an algorithm using a BCI then redirect those “corrected” signals to smart clothing that either stimulates the required muscles or has a network of small tubes filled with piezoelectric materials built into the clothing that would move the wearer’s body parts if they have low muscle mass? Would you need to cut any nerves in their body to get rid of the internal noise that comes with, for example, dystonic cerebral palsy? Also would it theoretically improve reaction time?
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!
Please don’t steal/copy my idea.
Yours sincerely,
Johnathan (Jonny) Burns
Ps total noob
