Wow this is a really neat project! I’ve been trying to recreate the project for a workshop at my school following the instructables tutorial linked here but am having some issues with the arduino reading the OpenBCI serial output. We are using an older version of the OpenBCI software (v2.0.5) with the CSR dongle. Has the serial output format using the networking tool changed between v.2.0.5 to the one used here in 2019? Any tips and pointers are welcomed!

Thanks!

The Networking widget has changed substantially. The GUI is now on 4.1.7, with v5 in progress!

Moving forward, I recommend updating to use the BLED112 Dongle with Ganglion. For now, you can also connect using built-in Bluetooth on a Mac using GUI 4.1.7.

This example uses the EMG data type in the current Networking widget. Also, here is a link to the GUI Networking Output Guide.

Cheers,
