OpenBCI Discovery Program: Seizure detection using AI/ML model

More than 3.4 million people in the US are afflicted with epilepsy, and nearly half of them are never free of epileptic seizures, even with drugs and surgical procedures. This has made the life of a patient very difficult. Our project aims to use Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning model to detect seizures. This will help the patients know when the seizure is occurring. It will enable the caregiver to provide comfort to the seizing patient and prevent any possible injury. We will use OpenBCI All-in-One EEG Cap Bundle to integrate with our AI/ML model for seizure detection.
