Hello everyone,

Because we are working on a wearable ECG prototype, we want to make the board as small as possible. therefore we individualized the PCB design based on the openBCI 8bit design. My question is now how we can get openBCI firmware on the new board design so the board is recognized by the laptop. Additionally my question is if we can implement a BLE connection between our customized board and the laptop without the dongle. We will be getting the dongle only in about 10 days and it is somewhat urgent so I am checking options.

Is there a way to upload openBCI firmware to our individualized board design (based on openBCI) to make it work without using a dongle? Can we directly connect the board to the laptop without the dongle?

Thanks for your help guys

    Hello everyone,

I am looking for the basic firmware I have to install on the ATmega328P-AU to get my board running. I want the SD card and especially the RFDuino 22301 module to activate so I can start working with the board. The board is currently completely naked, so therefore I have to access it manually via a programming board. Then I want to upload the 8bit standard firmware for the board I am looking for, connect my laptop to the BLE unit and start making changes from there. Any help appreciated!

    kind regards

    Simon
