Hi !

First post here so if I've forgotten any information tell me :D

And I've 3d printed an Ultracortex Mark 3 nova.

I've been getting a lot of noise around the 0-5 HZ frequency (see image). This noise seems to be around the
same for every electrodes.....

Is it possible that the electrodes are the problem ?
Do you have any idea what could cause the problem ?

    Renaud, hi.

Can you try the tutorial steps using gold cups and paste?

    http://docs.openbci.com/tutorials/01-GettingStarted

What are you using for SRB2 and Bias electrodes? The Ag-AgCl ear clips?

  • Hi !

    Thanks for your answer !
I don't have any paste though it seems the noise is still here  using only the gold cups :(
I am using the Ag-AgCl ear clips.

    Thanks!

Two suggestions: (1) the gold cups need to be used with the conductive and adhesive paste (Ten20). Otherwise it does not work. Gold cups cannot be used 'dry', such as the Ag-AgCl combs you have.

    (2) Sometimes mixing metals causes a 'battery' effect. For your gold cup test (following the tutorial doc pictures), use gold cups exclusively.
