tDCS Shield - Pads

edited February 2016 in Hardware
Hi everybody,

i participated in the Ganglion Kickstarter and now i'm also thinking to buy the added tDCS, however i can not find information regardless the material i need to apply the tDSC.
For the Ganglion i know that i have to buy extra the channels, is it the same with the tDCS / pads? In the i-net site i can just find that: "Anybody with the complete Ganglion+Ultracortex+tDCS system will be able to perform simultaneous neurostimulation and neurorecording"  http://shop.openbci.com/collections/frontpage/products/tdcs-shield What does it exactly mean.

Thanks for your answer :D

I'm realy exited with the OpenBCI project.
Best, Pascal.

    Hi Paski,

We are deep in the prototyping phase of our tDCS device development, and it's going well. As far as the 'pads' or electrodes, we are also developing designs that will fit into our Ultracortex headsets. Mostly, we see people using a sponge that is soaked in a saline solution.

With the OpenBCI (32bit or Ganglion) and the tDCS shield, we expect to be able to record EEG and apply the tDCS signal simultaneously.
