Upcoming OpenBCI HACKATHON! (Nov. 16-17)

Dear OpenBCI community,

We are very excited to announce an amazing first opportunity to get hands-on experience with the brand new OpenBCI hardware. On Saturday Nov.16th and Sunday Nov. 17th Thoughtworks NYC, in conjunction with their ‘100 Days of Hardware’ campaign, will be graciously hosting us for a weekend-long hackathon in midtown Manhattan. The primary goal of the event will be to explore the capabilities of the OpenBCI platform while building and sharing foundational APIs that make the technology more accessible to the rest of the open-source community.

While we wish this event could be totally open, at this point we are restricted by space and materials. Thus we are asking if you are interested to please fill out the following survey to apply for one of the limited spots. It is looking like the event will be capped at around 30 people. That said, if we find access to additional materials, that number could rise. Don’t fret if you are unable to attend this hackathon; there will be many more to come!

By attending this event, you will have the unique opportunity to become an early contributor to the OpenBCI community. Your knowledge and skills will help structure the technical foundation of the OpenBCI platform, shaping its direction indelibly. We genuinely appreciate your passion for learning, sharing, and helping to expand the community that powers OpenBCI.

Stay tuned for updates about the Kickstarter campaign and future hackathons!

Sincerely,

The OpenBCI Team
